Very-high-order TENO schemes with adaptive accuracy order and adaptive dissipation control

In this paper, a new family of very-high-order TENO schemes with adaptive accuracy order and dissipation control (TENO-AA) is proposed. The framework allows for constructing arbitrarily high-order in unified paradigm the yielded nonlinear gradually reduce to low-order reconstructions by judging smoothness ENO-like stencil selection strategy. numerical adaptively, flow scales are first measured examining first-order undivided difference cut-off constant $C_T$ weighting strategy adapted based on corresponding measurement. With one set optimal parameters, newly proposed designed deliver excellent performance predicting highly compressible flows wide range Mach numbers. While feature good robustness conventional gas dynamics, ENO-property well preserved assistant positivity-preserving flux limiter extreme simulations. Without loss generality, typical eight- ten-point TENO-AA constructed. A benchmark simulations computed demonstrate schemes.
